Health Visitors

Our health visitors are registered nurses with additional degree level qualifications in health visiting. They offer support and advice to all our families with pre-school and school age children eg feeding babies and toddlers, sleep problems, toilet training, tantrums, minor illness and first aid, concerns re vision, hearing or speech. 

They work closely with our midwives and see all pregnant women shortly before and also after the birth of their babies. They assess the development of all pre-school children at nine months and two years.
In addition the Health Visitors run drop in and immunisation clinics at both surgeries:
