MELANOMAS & MOLES

Malignant Moles are increasing in frequency. The danger signs are:-

* Sudden darkening in colour
* Rapid increase in size
* Bleeding
* Itching
* Irregular or spreading edge
* Small "satellite" moles nearby not previously present

If in doubt see your doctor during normal opening hours.

Malignant moles are very rare in patients under 18 years old.
